This week we sat down with Vusi, founder of the well known Johannesburg based brand, Native Decor! We asked Vusi a few questions, so you don't have to 😉 Read on to get to know Native Decor - the makers of locally manufactured decor and furniture items! Q: Who is Native Decor?

A: Native Decor creates beautiful home decor and furniture pieces for contemporary homes. We pride ourselves in our unique designs and being reasonably priced.

Q: What was the idea behind your brand?

A: The idea was to become a prominent online brand in the SA home decor and furniture industries with a focus on flatpack items that can be easily and quickly shipped to the end user. 

Q: How many people work for you?

A: We are a team of 15 people.

Q: What are your best sellers?

A: Our Mirrors.

Q: What is YOUR favourite product of your collection?

A: Our Africa Mirror (Shop the Africa Mirror here)

Q: What to you is the best thing about selling on KNUS?

A: The ability to access a range of customers that appreciate great design.

Q: How would you say it has impacted your business selling through KNUS?

A: They've partnered with us with a personal touch and patiently supported and understood our growth journey. 😉

Q: Why would you say it is important for customers to support local?

A: Supporting local is the quickest and most efficient way for us to grow our local economy. Imported products damage our economy as they contribute to unemployment and equally important, mean that SA will always struggle to manufacture its own products and compete on a global scale as we will never be able to develop our skills and infrastructure.
