This week we are sitting down with the makers of the beautiful concrete basins...Lux Crete. Owners Deon and Kate Muller has changed the way of perceiving basins as boring objects. They have the amazing ability to make concrete cool, classy and full of character! We've asked them a few questions to better understand their brand. Q: Where are you based?

A: Ballito, KZN

Q: In what year did you start Lux Crete?

A: 2019

Q: Who is “Lux Crete”?

A: Lux Crete is a business run by husband and wife, Deon and Kate Muller. We manufacture luxury concrete basins. Each basin is specially handmade with great care and craftsmanship using only the best quality materials.

Q: What was the idea behind your brand?

A: To use light weight concrete to create beautiful basins in an array of designs and colours to add character and something unique to your space.

Q: What is your creative process that inspires you to create what you do?

A: We love nature and using natural materials to create products full of character, colour movement and natural textures.

Q: What are your best sellers?

A: The Luna's are a favourite.

Q: What is YOUR favourite product of your collection?

A: Personally I (Kate) love the pink Lola's and Deon loves the grey Luna's.

Q: What to you is the best thing about selling on KNUS?

A: We are so excited to be associated with such an amazing brand, KNUS! We are excited for all the great exposure we will gain through this platform as well forming great working relationships with all those who we will work alongside with.

Q: Why would you say it is important for customers to support local?

A: We highly value supporting local. We support local businesses for all aspects of our business. It has been more important than ever before to support local and grow our local economy. Every small business you support is supporting a much bigger story!
