Each candle is hand-poured in small batches, fragranced with perfume-grade oils carefully sourced and selected to create our intoxicating and memorable scents. Filled with our Halcyon fragrance inspired by the primal scent of smooth Fine Leather, Olibanum, Night Blooming Jasmine and Black Suede. Top notes are Raspberry, Saffron and Thyme, middle notes are Olibanum and Jasmine with base notes are Leather, Suede, Woody Notes and Amber. YOUR FIRST TIME LIGHTING THE CANDLE * Remove the dust cover. * Please burn the candle until you have a melting pool. * This process usually takes 1-2 hours and will prevent tunneling so your candle will last longer. * Never burn the candle for more than 4 hours. * Trim wick before each use to reduce unnecessary smoke. WHILE BURNING * Do not burn a candle all the way down. * Never touch or move a burning candle. * Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. * Never move a candle container when the wax is liquified. * Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. * Never leave a burning candle unattended or lit while sleeping. * Use extra caution when burning candles during a power outage. * Extinguish a candle if the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly. * Before re-lighting, let the candle cool, trim the wick, and check for unwanted drafts. * If burning multiple candles, place each candle at least three inches apart from one another. * If you are going to leave the room or go to bed, be sure to extinguish all candles first. * Do not place lit candles where they can be knocked over by children, pets or anyone else. * For safety measures, stop burning a candle when there is ¼ inch of wax left in the vessel. WHEN EXTINGUISHING * Do not touch or move the candle until it has completely cooled. * Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle, if available, as it’s the safest way to prevent hot wax from splattering. * Do not use water to extinguish a candle, this can cause the hot wax to splatter and could break a glass container. * Before leaving the room, make sure your candle is completely out and there is no glow coming from the wick ember.


Lead Time:3 - 5 working days before dispatch.

Dispatch is when the item(s) in your order is ready for shipment not the date your order arrives at your door. Dispatch is when we release the item(s) to our delivery partners who handle final delivery. Once dispatched delivery should be within 2 - 5 working days via our economy door to door service in South Africa.

KNUS uses an economy door to door courier service to ensure fast and direct delivery anywhere in South Africa. Our courier service offers delivery from Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm.

Weekend or after-hour deliveries may be offered on special request at a surcharge.

You are welcome to return or exchange your order within 10 days of the date of delivery in its original packaging and condition.  No returns will be accepted for any products that is not sufficiently packaged, regardless the reason for return.  Once we are satisfied of the condition of the item, you will be refunded via your original method of payment or have the option to exchange your item.

Exchanges are only allowed for the exact same item (i.e. same item in another colour or print) and/or an item of the exact same value. If you would like an item of a different value from the store, you will have to purchase this separately or wait until you have been refunded.

Unfortunately we do not accept returns of sale items.

Shipping fees are non refundable.  

Any shipping fees associated with making returns are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.

If your product is damaged in any way on delivery, please notify us and send us images as proof within 10 days of delivery on info@knus.co so we may correct this as soon as possible.

No returns will be accepted for any products that is not sufficiently packaged, regardless the reason for return (i.e. not your cup of tea or damaged or faulty).  If any returned items are damaged during return transit due to obvious insufficient packaging, you may not qualify for a refund / exchange and may be charged the return shipping fee to have the damaged goods returned to you.  

Please note that certain items in our store are custom made and non refundable.  You will see these applicable products on the specific products’ listing page(s).

KNUS does not offer any returns on international shipments. 

Please note that should you use your own third party shipping company to further transport any product(s) already delivered to you by us to another address in South Africa or abroad, we are no longer responsible for any damages even if you notify us within the 10 days return policy unless you informed us of such damages BEFORE passing on the products to your courier company.  

Therefore when using any third party shipping company or courier to further transport any product(s) abroad or in South Africa, all products MUST be checked for any damages once delivered by KNUS before handing over to your third party courier in order for us to assist you with any exchanges or refunds.  In Layman's term's: please give your transport company permission to open your packages on your behalf and confirm whether there is any damage before further transporting the packages for you.
