Our Dondo dining table is inspired by the West African talking drum which is hourglass-shaped and whose pitch can be regulated to mimic the tone and prosody of human speech. 

Steel Structure with laser cut steal and stone / timber top.

Timber: 

Wood is a natural product that expands and contracts due to the humidity and temperature of the environment, this natural movement can lead to warping. Dust regularly with a soft cloth, To maintain the luster of the timber, rub furniture with furniture oil (Woodoc / Danish Oil) every other month or according to the directions as per the product used. All our products are sealed to protect the timber however spills need to be wiped immediately to avoid staining or swelling. Variations created by nature including color,grain,and texture are not considered defects

Stone:

Marble has natural striations that occur,making each piece unique, this surface is also porous and will absorb oils and water creating subsequent marks. Marble should be dusted regularly with a soft dry cloth. Cleaning products with lemon, acid or reactive additives will cause damage to this porous material. Protect the stone top from scratching by not placing sharp objects on the stone. Use coasters and mats on the stone tops to protect the surface from glasses and appliances.

Steel:

Steel substrate can rust in humid environments, although all steps have been taken to avoid this – it is inevitable overtime in coastal regions. Scratches and chips may occur when surface is bumped & rusting might occur in those damaged areas. Products that have been powder coated should be cleaned using a soft cloth mildly damp. Items should also be dusted regularly and surfaces not be scoured. After cleaning, make sure to gently wipe any soap residue with a soft dry cloth. In the event of outdoor furniture or furniture to be used at the coast the client is required to inform the manufacturer in order for rust treatment to be allowed for. Please note that even powdercoated metals will corrode overtime in coastal or humid regions, please bear this in mind.

You are welcome to return or exchange your order within 10 days of the date of delivery in its original packaging and condition.  No returns will be accepted for any products that is not sufficiently packaged, regardless the reason for return.  Once we are satisfied of the condition of the item, you will be refunded via your original method of payment or have the option to exchange your item.

Exchanges are only allowed for the exact same item (i.e. same item in another colour or print) and/or an item of the exact same value. If you would like an item of a different value from the store, you will have to purchase this separately or wait until you have been refunded.

Unfortunately we do not accept returns of sale items.

Shipping fees are non refundable.  

Any shipping fees associated with making returns are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.

If your product is damaged in any way on delivery, please notify us and send us images as proof within 10 days of delivery on info@knus.co so we may correct this as soon as possible.

No returns will be accepted for any products that is not sufficiently packaged, regardless the reason for return (i.e. not your cup of tea or damaged or faulty).  If any returned items are damaged during return transit due to obvious insufficient packaging, you may not qualify for a refund / exchange and may be charged the return shipping fee to have the damaged goods returned to you.

Please note that should you use your own third party shipping company to further transport any product(s) already delivered to you by us to another address in South Africa or abroad, we are no longer responsible for any damages even if you notify us within the 10 days return policy unless you informed us of such damages BEFORE passing on the products to your courier company.  
Therefore when using any third party shipping company or courier to further transport any product(s) abroad or in South Africa, all products MUST be checked for any damages once delivered by KNUS before handing over to your third party courier in order for us to assist you with any exchanges or refunds.  In Layman's term's: please give your transport company permission to open your packages on your behalf and confirm whether there is any damage before further transporting the packages for you.
