Is Rattan still on trend? The answer is a big yes. This wonderful material certainly is still weaving its magic as one of the hottest interior trends around. Rattan is one of the rare trends that effortlessly manages to pull off the relaxed but ultra-stylish look simultaneously, and better yet, it's not hard to pull off. So we repeat, yes, we still can’t get enough of Rattan.
So this week, we had a few questions for Rudolf, the founder of R.A. Woodcraft, and the maker of our Rattania collection - exclusive to KNUS.
Q: So Rudolf, where are you based?
A: Diep River, Cape Town
Q: What year was RA Woodcraft started?
Q: Who is ‘RA Woodcraft’
A: At the head of the team founder, Rudolf Zuidema, has over two decades of woodworking experience. Rudolf’s moto is craftsmanship, integrity and sustainability and this embodied by all who work at R.A. Woodcraft.

Q: Why would you say it is important for customers to support local?
A; Supporting local means supporting our very own, it means putting food on the table of your neighbour, it means growing our own local economy, it means job creation within our community, it’s greener as your carbon footprint is less and it’s the easiest way to make a difference in someone local’s life.
