Bedroom Wallpaper Tips

Today's blog is all about wallpaper and how to make those walls talk! With the right colour, pattern and texture you can create your desired look and atmosphere. We have some great ideas for your bedroom walls...maybe it's time to update those old walls with something new. So let's get into it!

1. Make sure your wallpaper is complementing your art

It might be a good idea to use neutral wallpaper if you have artworks against your bedroom walls. By choosing a more muted wallpaper will ensure that your wallpaper does not overpower your artworks. This will also ensure that both the artworks and wallpaper speak for themselves.

2. Add some coziness

Small prints will immediately add texture to your walls. Wallpaper with some small flower prints will add an element of coziness to your bedroom...and who doesn't like a cozy bedroom?

3. Show your personality

Your bedroom is a very personal space and therefore you have even more reason to experiment with colours and different designs and make this room your very own! Different colours and patterns across the bedroom can work perfectly together from wallpapers, headboards, bedding and curtains.

4. Turn to nature

Bringing in elements of nature through your wallpaper is a great way to create a space where you can relax and recharge after a long day. Wallpaper with a calming appeal can be paired with contrasting colours and designs and still provide a relaxed atmosphere in your bedroom.

5. Make a bold statement

Make a bold statement by repeating the same wallpaper design through upholstery or match your headboard with the wall behind it. This might sound boring, but you will be pleasantly surprised by the beautiful effect this has on a room.
